Welcome to the Banner section of the platform! Banners are the bridges to your partners' widgets. Let us tell you more about the section before we dive in how to create banners...πŸ˜„

You can open this section by selecting Content in the left menu of the platform and then Banners!

In this section, you can find four different tabs:

  • Scheduled

  • Published

  • Expired

  • Draft

These tabs contain the upcoming and already published banners. This is also where you can create banners for your partners!

The "Published" tab

This is where all the current active banners are placed.

The "Scheduled" tab

Here are all the banners linked to a campaign that isn't published yet but only scheduled.

The "Expired" tab

This tab contains the banners from campaigns that are no longer active.

The "Draft" tab

There are two types of banners stocked in this tab :

> the ones that you started working on and saved as a draft

> the ones linked to a campaign that is in draft mode

Partners cannot see the banners that are in the draft tab.

The Add banner button

The Add banner button will allow you to create banners. Speaking about this, let's dive in the 3 steps to create a banner.

Hit the button to get started! πŸ‘

Step 1) Fill in banner attributes

1. Link the banner to a campaign

2. This is purely informative. Once you selected the campaign, the category linked to that campaign will appear here.

1. Write a title for the banner.

β‡’ It will be shown in the banner overview and the analytics of your partners.

2. Select a link type

β‡’ If you choose page, the banner will be linked to a landing page linked to a Channext campaign.

β‡’ If you choose link, you'll be able to type any URL to connect the banner to.

3. Pick a page from the dropdown if you selected Page as a link type or type in a URL if you chose Link in the previous step.

Add http:// or https:// when typing in a link in the Channext platform

  • It is possible to add two separate images for banners on desktop and mobile.

  • The mobile version of the banner will automatically be loaded when the banner is consulted on a mobile device.

Image size

File size is restricted to 1.2 MB. The ideal dimensions for banners not to be clipped are the following:

  • Desktop banner : 1200 x 400 px

  • Mobile banner : 540 x 405 px

Are you happy with the banner?

  • YES!
Hit the Save data button. The banner will be added to your partners' sliders.

  • Not yet...
Alter your banner or select Save as a draft. The banner will be placed in the Draft section for you to finish later.

Congrats, you're done! πŸ˜„
