Start creating a social post
1) Click on the "Create Social Post" button
2) Select the platform.
You can select either Facebook or LinkedIn.
3) Select the social post type.
There are four social post types:
Text post
They can create text posts both for LinkedIn and Facebook. A text post is a written message in text form without any images or videos.
Image post
Image posts can be created both for LinkedIn and Facebook. An image post consists of an image or graphic accompanied by a caption or description.
Video post
Video posts are available both for LinkedIn and Facebook. A video post involves a video with a message.
Article post
Article posts can be created only for LinkedIn. It enables users to write and publish longer-form content, similar to a blog post.

4) Fill in the Social Post information

Schedule the date and time of publication
Select the campaign
In the fourth step, you will decide where your social post will be linking to. You have three possibilities as to where your post will redirect:
None: you can choose not to link this post
URL: When picking 'URL' as the link type, you'll have to create a custom URL as the destination of your post.
Page: When picking 'page' as the link type, you'll be able to link your post to your created campaigns.
News post: When picking 'News post' as the link type, you'll link your social post to the available news posts in the dropdown menu.
Linking your post to a page
When selecting 'page' as the link type, you'll be able to link your post to your created campaigns. You have the possibility to link to the website of the partners (widget), or to the external campaign page (landing page). Select the link type and target and use the dropdown menu to choose the page.

When selecting 'News post' as link type, you'll link your social post to the available news posts in the dropdown menu.
Linking your post to a specific URL
When picking 'URL' as link type, you'll have to create a custom URL as the destination of your post. This URL is filled in the 'Social post content' section, as it can be a different URL per language.

5) Fill in the social post content
It's time to get creative! In this last step, we add content to the social post.
Depending on the post type selected, there are different fields you can fill in. This is the Headline, Message, Image, and Video.
Above the fields, you can see in which language you are writing the current post content.
The Headline shows when you are creating a LinkedIn article post, and is used for the headline above the link.

Adding partner variables to the social post
When creating social posts, you can incorporate partner variables into the post message. This allows the social post text to be more personalized for the partner’s branding. The partner variables will automatically update with the partner’s information when they preview the post and when the post is published!

Are you happy with the post?
> YES!
Hit the Schedule button. The participating partners will receive a notification at 00:00.
> Not yet...
Alter the post or select Save as a draft. The post will be placed in the Draft section for you to finish later.
