Content Library - Accessibility options

When adding content to the Library, by default all your partners are able to see what is uploaded. But there are also some great ways to limit access to certain folders. This way you can make sure only the partner you want, get to see the content. 🔍

That is great for you, but also for your partners, giving them access focused on their needs and not a big pile of information where only a bit is relevant to them.

Let's dive into the accessibility settings.

In some cases you may want to share content or data with only a select group of your partners. This is possible by setting the accessibility for a file/folder for a specific partner only. By selecting this option and the partners that you want to give access to, you can ensure the information is only available for the targeted partners.

To grant access to a group of partners with similar interests or permissions there are a few accessibility settings that can be used:

After setting accessibility to a specific category, only partners that are subscribed to this category will be see the folder and content. Thanks to this, partners will

by default only see content that is relevant to them.

By only granting access to partners with a certain assigned status, you can limit access to partners with the correct training and/or contracts.

Certain content is only relevant for specific users. By making use of the roles in the Channext platform attached to every partner user, you can limit access to sales data to sales users and only give access to technical training to technical users. This way, not only your partner but also all their employees will be able to see and use the material meant for them.
